Phase 1 Identify records that cannot be used under RDA Only records that do not also require some change during phase 2 Changes made ~August 2012 ~400,000 records changed
Phase 1.5 Deal with the RDA 7XX fields Changes made January, 2013 Most RDA 7XX fields removed Many became 4XX Not yet removed if record requires a change during phase 2 ~15,000 records changed
Phase 2 Change texts of fields Re-code changed AACR2 records as RDA ~400,000 records to be changed Expected to begin March 4 30,000 records per day Sequential order per LC's copy of the file
