Verb Dedicated means “used for a special purpose.” A book, song, statue, or a building could be dedicated to a person or to a group. This shows that the person or group to whom the item is dedicated is very special and important

They study the artifacts to see how people used them to live. Sometimes they put the artifacts in museums so others can see them.
