2.1 Review Why do you think Americans study the Enlightenment today? Which philosopher that we studied yesterday (on p. 12 of your notebook) do you think is the most important to the US? Explain one view of that philosopher and why it is important.

What were some successes of the AOC? Why did the AOC make it difficult to solve disputes, especially among states? Why was the new government so in debt and unable to repay it? What caused Shays’ Rebellion?
