We will create a unit on interesting people and present this to each other. You will create a power point and publisher document that shows us why YOU find this person important enough to research. We will then put this on a web site for all to access

Explain why you are choosing the person you do

1. Remain Calm! You will have plenty of time to complete the project. You will begin by choosing someone famous or important who you are familiar with and can research in the library and online. Next, we will go to the library and spend two days in the computer lab where you will research the life and accomplishments of your person

You will organize your research into a paper power point so you know exactly what you will need to do once you get into the computer lab. You will go into the lab and get that information typed into the power point. Make the power point interesting for your viewer. (Kind of like this one only better)

I know you’re thinking what is that, well…. Don’t worry…It’s easy. You will create a brochure or flyer about your person to pass out to your audience. This will help you show them why this person is worth remembering

Now you will create a site where others can go and look at all you’ve done. It’s easy too. It’s not actually online. We will link it to my page with a link to everyone’s page. You will create one page with two links - one to each.

You will get to spend time researching somebody YOU want to learn more about. Make it meaningful YOU ARE IN CHARGE!
