Welcome to our unit on Pioneer life. During this unit you will be introduced to the adventures, the hardships, and the characteristics of the American Pioneer.
Just what is a pioneer? A pioneer is someone who goes into a new, unknown area with the purpose of exploring or settling it.
Pioneers have been around for much of this Country’s history. As the population of our Country grew, people started traveling west into the frontier to buy land to farm and live on.
