Region Directors' Awards RULES, INITIATIVES, AND DEADLINES

Region Directors' Awards: The Rules  All Region Directors may apply.  One strategy must be completed for each of the five initiatives. one page of documentation  No more than one page of documentation per strategy. do not  Page totals do not include your entry form, annual report, or tracking document.

Region Directors' Awards: The Levels 12 or more  Gold Award – Completion of 12 or more strategies. Entry may be total pages  Silver Award – Completion of 9-11 strategies. Entry will be 9-11 total pages. 6-8  Bronze Award – Completion of 6-8 strategies. Entry will be 6-8 total pages.

Region Directors' Awards: Initiatives Strategy #1: Assist your chapters in promoting Keys to Excellence at the Region Seminar Strategy #2: Encourage your FS Director and/or School Administrators to attend Region Seminar and/or Industry Seminar Strategy #3: Promote SNA Conferences, Training, and Webinar Wednesdays Strategy #4: Collaborate with State Agency to provide educational sessions at Region Seminar Strategy #5: Provide an opportunity for participating SIPs to address Region Seminar attendees (“Five Minutes of Fame”) Initiative #1: Education and Professional Development

Region Directors' Awards: Initiatives Strategy #1: Assist the presidents in your region on how to use the SNA National Resources on Grassroots Advocacy Strategy #2: Invite FS Directors, Superintendents, Administrator, and SIP representatives to LAC in Tallahassee Strategy #3: Visit a legislator at their local district office and invite them to speak at your Region Seminar Strategy #4: Attend LAC in Tallahassee Strategy #5: Invite your State Representative to Annual Conference Initiative #2: Advocacy and Public Image

Region Directors' Awards: Initiatives Strategy #1: Assist chapters in your region to increase local, state, and/or national membership and SDM by 5% Strategy #2: Ask region FS Director and/or Administrator to become a member of national, state, and local Strategy #3: Encourage chapter presidents, all members, administrators, co-workers, and the community to embrace change by coming together in unison, building a stronger bond Strategy #4: Assist chapters in your region in the use of the SNA Membership Toolbox Strategy #5: Promote SNA’s revamped Star Club program and membership drives Initiative #3: Community

Region Directors' Awards: Initiatives Strategy #1: Assist chapters in reviewing and updating their bylaws if necessary Strategy #2: Schedule a Region Seminar planning meeting to include all participating chapter presidents Strategy #3: Assist chapters in reducing time commitment and task forces Strategy #4: Write an article in one edition of the School Food in Florida magazine. Initiative #4: Infrastructure
