Saber-Toothed cats. There were many types of these extinct cats. Sometimes referred to as “ Saber-Toothed Tigers ” they were about the size of a modern African Lion.

A human is bigger thin a saber-toothed tiger. But the saber-toothed tiger is longer then the human.

Their teeth are so long that if the saber-toothed tiger bites you the teeth would go right in your body and it would kill you ! The teeth are about 28 cm (11 in ) long.

Before about 10,000 years ago. By the ice age. The saber-toothed cats died out. After

The saber-toothed cat did not use their long teeth while taking down the prey, to avoid breaking them. Only when their prey was totally subdued did they use their teeth
