Company program INJAZ Kuwait Regional training 2006 Amman – Jordan

Curriculum : Program – combine between JAWW and Jordanian one. Based on Kuwait economy. adaptation from a volunteer, Business school in KU. the Kit is the same design of JAWW version.

Kit’s contents : –30 student manuals. –2 guides for consultant and teacher. –1 Excellence through Ethics. –75 Stock certificates. –30 Job applications. –6 officer’s folders. –6 officer’s labels. –1 Organization wall chart. –1 Charter application bylaw. –1 Sales chart –2 JA stickers. –2 purchase order sheet. –1 executive secretary envelop. –30 identification desk cards. –1 charter. –1 JA Banner. –1 midpoint evaluation. –1 Liquidation report. –30 membership ID cards. –4 meeting minutes. –2 stockholders record. –3 administrative records. –400 product label stickers. –2 sales order book. –2 production record. –1 unit production &sales chart. –6 Financial records. –4 Sales records. –1 sales summary.

First step : Ministry of Education : Approach the ministry of education to approve the program. Meeting with the person in charge in MOE with all educational districts directors. EDD select the schools for the program. Meeting with the schools principles in MOE.

Schools : posters Distribute posters to nominated schools. “ imagine your self starting and building your own business while you still in school, ask your school about INJAZ Kuwait company program” Posters in schools a week before the semester started.

Schools CP. Orientation : A person in charge in the school for student registration. inform injaz when the registration is done (25 students ) MAX. for one company. INJAZ arrange a visit to school to explain the program and INJAZ.(motivation ) Set a date and day to start the program

Volunteers training session 2 ( 2 hours ) one week before the semester : Distribute volunteers to schools. Tour through the Kit. class management. study cases. FAQ.

Volunteers training : role play before the semester starts, we ask the volunteers for a class room role play, where a volunteer run a class room, and the rest of the volunteers play the students roles. ( optional ).

Company program progress 13 companies are running in schools Public – private schools 280 students

Companies in schools After school program 2 hours a week -In private : pm - in public : 2- 4 pm - students structure a company - distribute roles (voting – nominating). - invest 3 KD share certificate X 25 students ( capital 75 KD only ). - brain storm a product or service (refer approved- disapproved ) - company process.

Public girls school: Company called WANASA team. Managing event company. Manage 3 carnivals in public gardens. Targeted kids and families entertainment. Net profit : 3000 KD

Private school ASK : gender : mix Company called (Al KOOT). retail company. produce and sell T shirts target : youth objective : market Kuwait. delivery per request (order). Aiming to 80 – 100% net profit.

Public Girls school company called “m3ana wanasa”. tourism trips. arrange a trip to resort. Trip tickets - beach sports - games – party time. Net profit : 700 KD

Public girls school: company called “Q8.com”. produce and sell hand made small trashes. marketing campaign (keep Kuwait clean yalah bser3a al 7in) net profit: 400 KD.

Private girls school ACA: Sweet Summer Company. limited edition T-shirts and beach bags Target : ACA school girls. net profit: KD433

Private boys school ACA: Company called “ AL SOOR’’. high quality partially customized imprinted polo shirts. Net profit : KD 337.5

Public boys schools managing event company called (way 2 success) company to arrange graduation party. each graduate to participate pay 20 KD. net profit : estimated %. media company called ( The Best) publish one version magazine. contents ( survey : what the best ….? ) on 3000 people. profit : companies adds.

Board visits to schools Support volunteers + students

Volunteers challenges : travel not inform injaz not reading or replying injaz s. commit then drop out leave the program ( politics – personal ). competing not cooperating with each other. late to meetings

Students challenges : real companies taking advantage of their fake companies. risk. jealousy so much into competing not learning. disqualify the program policy. we know it all. last moment resigns. some work, some only waiting for profit. taking action without consultant permit ion. exams.

School challenges teacher don’t show up. not supportive principle. school students cause trouble to INJAZ students.

Event : Full day event. ball room + conference room ( hotel ) reception + activities + partying. gifts + certificates. all participants – students booths for all companies. judging committee ( business independents - 5) announce ( INJAZ Kuwait best company )

Judging criteria : Company report. Presentation. interview.
