Australian Slang Activity SS6G14 The student will describe the cultural characteristics of people who live in Australia. a. Explain the impact of English colonization on the language and religion of Australia. Instructions: Use the list of Australian slang words, and your vivid imagination to write an original story. You MUST include at least 10 facts about the History, Geography, and/or Culture of Australia. These facts should be highlighted & numbered in your story. Use as many Australian slang words as possible in your story and underline each one. Be creative and make this assignment interesting & fun. Grading will be based on the amount/accuracy of factual information given about Australia and how many slang words (10+) are incorporated into this presentation. Correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, & structure will be expected & included in the overall grade.
