Natural Resources Project

Step 1: Choose topic Solar Energy Nuclear Energy Wind Power Geothermal Energy Hydroelectric Power

STEP 2: On a piece of paper (1 per group), make 8 questions and answers about your topic. For example: Is it a renewable or non-renewable resource and why? How does it work? When and where can it be used? What are the advantages of using solar energy over using fossil fuels? What are the disadvantages of using solar energy? What percent of energy used by people in the United States it solar power? Where in the world is solar power used the most? How much does it cost?

Step 3: Use links from corr5 to research the answers to your questions Write the answers in your own words! Copy and paste the website addresses that you use to the end of a powepoint slide

Step 4: Powerpoint Powerpoint with 13 slides One is a title/name page One is a bibliography 11 will contain at least 8 ?’s and answers Plus photos and diagrams

How will it be graded? Do you have all 8 ?’s Quality of the ?’s and answer Do you have pictures and diagrams to back up your information. (maybe charts, graphs) Do you have your sources listed? Creativity Presentation: clear, easy to understand?

Timeline: Today: Make 8 questions and research and save answers and upload below Friday: put questions and answers in powerpoint and add pictures/charts/etc. Upload to natural resources project link or Monday: present
