Presentation of the Head of Federal Accreditation Service Savva Shipov

There was no unified accreditation system in Russia until  A lot of accreditation systems are supervised by different state bodies  Different requirements and procedures are not corresponding with standards of the series  The need for simultaneous accreditation in multiple systems It is impossible to guarantee the competence during the conformity assessment

RusAccreditation has been created in  RusAccreditation has unified different accreditation systems  More than 100 people are employed in the Central office in Moscow  The were established 7 territorial representations that have 80 employees  More than 500 external experts are being certified and involved by RusAccreditation into the accreditation process  There are more than accredited bodies in the unified system

Stages of formation and objectives up to Stages: 1 st stage: 1 November 2011 – 1 July 2012 “Organization” 2 nd stage: 1 July 2012 – 31 December 2012 “Formation of the intermediate model” 3 rd stage: 1 January 2013 – 1 July 2014 “Implementation of the intermediate model and formation of the final model” 4 th stage: 1 July 2014 – 31 December 2016 “Implementation of the final model and international recognition” Goal:  Creation of a professional, convenient, effective, stable and independent accreditation system corresponding to international standards in Russia
