Hannah: A Role Model A real person with real problems She responded with believing prayer She trusted God to answer She kept her promise to God She honored God with praise

1.She was a real person with real problems, 1:1-8 She was married to a bigamist She was barren, and her husband had taken his second wife because she was barren. 1:2 Her barrenness could be interpreted as God punishing her God had closed her womb, 1:5,6

Her promise demonstrated that she was more concerned about honoring God than in ending her barrenness.1:11 C. She would not be distracted by other’s misunderstanding, 1:12-16 D. 5. She Responds with Praise, 2:1-10 Praise bursts forth from a heart overfull with thanksgiving. “There is no one holy like the Lord; there is no one besides you; there is no Rock like our God.”
