Andy Warhol is one of only 7 artists whose works have sold for $100 million (McMillan 2010, p.4). His painting Eight Elvises achieved this price. Jackson Pollack, Picasso, van Gogh, Renoir, Klimt and de Kooning have also had works sold at this price (McMiIllan 2010, p.4).
