Committee Charge 1. Develop vision, mission, goals and strategic priorities for Academic Affairs for the next 5-10 years To be used to make key decisions related to Academic Affairs 2. Perform an environmental scan and SWOT analysis Internal and External Stakeholders Internal and External Data 3. Identify key performance indicators/measures 4. Facilitate a strategic planning/visioning retreat Completion date: October 1, 2011

Visioning Process March and April: Environmental Scan of Internal and External environments June 9 & 10: Making Sense of the Data Identify strategic themes June-July: Develop concept papers about strategic themes August 11: Convene a Vision Conference with stakeholders Discuss white papers and craft vision statement September 16: Convene a Goals Conference with Committee Develop Goals & KPI’s for Strategic Themes October 1 : Submit final report to Provost King
