BACKGROUND MASS PARTICIPATION INCLUDES: –All school sport except multi-coded national teams to ISF & COSASSA events –Community Mass Participation Programmes –Social Leagues –Indigenous Games –Student intra-campus sport –Recreation –Talent ID

BACKGROUND HIGH PERFORMANCE SPORT: –Team SA presentation and preparation for Olympic, Paralympic, Commonwealth, All Africa, World Games –Academy System, –Education & Training –Bidding and hosting –National Colours

SCHOOL SPORT MASS PARTICIPATION –Includes inter-school, inter-regional, inter-provincial (national) programmes –All Athletes with a disability part of this programme Physically disabled are mostly located in mainstream schools Intellectually Impaired and Deaf are mainly located in LSEN Schools –Government coordinate NATIONAL SCHOOLS TEAMS –SportsCO prepare and present the multi-coded teams –National schools Code Committees and the National Federations will prepare and present single code teams (SportsCo oversight role?)
