Why this Demand? Africans want to produce technology - need the TOOLS to fish not the FISH; developing specific solutions to African problems like energy, etc participation in the global technology space develop industrial research capacity create businesses from R & D engineer solutions that’s global in nature but local in context reduce the gap between industry and academia build required info and infra structure for competitiveness in the knowledge economy
