How can we help? Reduce our consumption: only water plants & lawns when they need it

How do we know when plants need watering? Measure the moisture in the soil! How? Measure its resistance to electricity.

What do we need? A way to measure the resistance of soil A computer A visual display / alarm An audible alarm Power
