Nobel Peace Prize Winner, Year Your Name Ms. Lange English I, block __ ? December 2011

Receiving an Honor Briefly give an explanation in your own words as to why the person/organization won the NPP. (You might choose to include a picture from the ceremony, if available.) How is the person/organization’s efforts linked to social justice?

Legacy Describe the lasting influence this person/organization has made. (You might choose to tell your audience what you argued in your essay.) What contributions did he/she/they make after being honored with the NPP? Has the person/organization inspired others? Does the person/organization have any monuments, memorials, or museums associated with them?

Other Interesting Facts If time permits, include any other important and/or interesting information you learned during your research that would benefit your fellow scholars. This requires you to practice the timing of your presentation to see if you have time for this slide.

Current Significance Why should people care about the person/organization’s efforts and cause? This should be your final slide as it will bring closure to your presentation. It is the equivalent of explaining why your argument matters in the conclusion of your essay.

MLA Citations Include MLA Citations for any sources that assisted you in completing this presentation, including documentation of pictures.
