W HAT I HAVE LEARNED IN THE TECHNOLOGY CLASS. By: Vale Merino. 5to PAI

T YPES OF SOFTWARE. System software: helps run the computers hardware and computer system.the purpose is insulate the aplications programmer. Example:opereting system – windows.k, Macintosh etc. Programing software: provides tools to asist in the writing computer. Example: text editors, compliers,interpreters etc. Application software: is to benefit users by the typical aplications. Example : MS word, execel,publisher etc.

TYPES OF OPERATING SYSTEM. Many computers operating system will fall into more than one of the categories. GUI: graphical user interface. Multi-User: you can use the same computer at the same time. Multiprocessing: capable of supporting more than one computers. Multitasking: capable os allowing multiple sowftware. Multithreading: allow different parts of sowftware program to run. Memory: Primar memory Second memory.

R AM AND ROM Ram: randomw access memory Is the place where your computer stores its operating. ROM: ready only memory.

W INDOWS MOVIE MAKER. Windows movie maker is a program that let you to do videos of everything that you want. You can put a music, pictures,videos. Is a great way of make videos that you can share with everybody.

C OMMERCIAL WITH MOVIE MAKER I did a commercial that employes windows movie maker the commercial was about purses and I had to showed the product.

MICROSOFT OFFICE ACCESS Access is similar that excel. The main use is to do database. Is perfect for a business and is more easy than excel.

P ODCAST Podcasting is the distribution of multimedia files Usually audio or video through a syndication system that allows subscribe and use a program that downloads to the user.

P ROJECT WITH PODCAST We had a project that we have to record in four podcast about networks. So in the project we told about networks, types of networks. The objective was to learn in a different way.

In this year in the technology class we have learned some interesting things and the most important part is that the projects are projects that will help us to know more about that programs and to know how to use when we need.
