Miraculous Medal of Mary Zoe Laboure became a nun at the age of 24. She changed her name to Catherine. She began to have visions of Mary. One of her visions she saw images of the miraculous medal. One side has the image of Mary with the words “O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee.”

On the other side of the medal is a “M” with a cross above it and the hearts of Jesus and Mary below it. Mary told Sister Catherine, “Those who wear it will receive great graces.”
