Cell References/Address Always use cell addresses when computing cell information! Relative Reference – cell reference in formula changes as it is copied relative to the new cell Absolute Reference – cell reference in formula does not change – must add $ (ex. $D$12)
Using AutoSum Feature Used to quickly add a group of numbers 1. Put cursor in cell for answer 2. Click AutoSum button 3. Select range to add and press Enter
Number Styles Comma/Number – Adds a comma (ex. 1,000) Accounting/Currency – Adds $ (ex. $1,000) Percent – Changes decimal to % ( to 22.35%) Date – Changes format as desired March 21, 2009 or 3/21/09
