Content Passion Ag Science II – Shop Construction Adirondack Chairs I’m really struggling right now…… What is my passion? I feel like I am jack of all trades and master of none. Within your subject matter, what are you passionate about teaching? In other words, of all the topics and standards you teach as part of your curriculum, which are the ones you most enjoy?

Professional Passion Student learning Becoming a contributing member of society Within your profession, but not specific to your subject matter, what are you passionate about? What is it about being an educator that drives you? What ignites a fire inside of you?

Personal Passion Running – I am currently working on training for a ½ marathon I am really struggling with what my passion truly is –I am working on becoming refocused in the classroom as a classroom teacher. –I hope this book study helps me become passionate again, as I was reading and I was just dumb founded as to the fact that over time I have slowly lost my passion. –I am reading several books this summer, participating in this book study and working on some professional development tailored to areas I would like to see some improvement. –I have been visiting with staff and fellow teachers at WLC and just working to reconnect this summer with where I want to go with my teaching career. Books include: Teach like a Pirate, 17 things great teachers do differently Professional Development: Soil Science grid sampling with local specialist, Classroom Management with a local college professor and former teacher and administrator. While at WLC I am visiting with fellow teachers learning how they manage their programs. –I feel like I am jack of all, master of nothing. I want to be more than good, I want to be great. Completely outside of your profession, what are you passionate about?
