WHO AM I? Daniel Grant 3 and a half years at UHI starting with HNC SOUND PRODUCTION Currently in my final year of University Aspire to work in Broadcast and Post Production

Why I chose ‘Live Broadcast & Post Production’ Employment is relatively high in comparison to other sectors of the industry The work experiences gained during the summer of 2014 Media runs through my family via various generations My current & future skills set will match an employers need

Specific Work Experience (GREEN ROOM FILMS) Worked from 9 th June-12 th June Although work was not hands on, very informative and motivational Able to sit down with the Post Production engineer in the team (Chris Tuszewski) Went in open minded to see what the world of media offered and what happens during post production

Conclusion I have a clear set of targets to hit. If I hit them, I will ultimately get to where I want in the working world Done the appropriate extensive research to know how to tackle my targets Already have a solid platform to work from e.g. contacts, Glasgow games, University degree etc As a very long term target? I want to be working in Sports Broadcast by 2016 ultimately.
