Go Green  Going Green is a popular term used to describe the process of changing one’s lifestyle for the safety and benefit of the environment.

Examples of Going Green Read the news online, rather than a newspaper Paperless billing Unplug electronics when in use (25% of power is used when everything is off, but plugged up)

Other Schools Going Green All Saints Catholic School is recycling paper Colorado State is cleaning up the environment 1 bag at a time Dundee College is recycling across campus At New York University the students are riding bikes instead of cars

Ways Our School Could Go Green Green Schools use 33% less energy & 32% less water every year Fixing these cracks under the door could save money on the heating bill Fixing the faucets so they won’t constantly keep running would help on the water bill
