Making a Difference to All Learners >> We work systematically towards developing our FOS key competencies

What our children said about what Our Way looks like: learning things we like doing because you learn more when it is fun and you are interested; learning a wide range of things, including new things, not just the basics; having a choice in what we want to learn; able to develop our strengths but also have help to improve our weaknesses; getting to know a range of different teachers and their learning styles through such things as maths interchange and specialist strengths; and being able to use computers really well. >> What is valued? What is emphasised? How do we know?

We want those who follow in our footsteps at Fendalton School to feel like they don’t want to leave here because it’s their place. -Fendalton students 2005 >> What is valued? What is emphasised? How do we know?

>> Only part of a whole approach to learning - OUR WAY

Tell me and I forget, show me and I remember, involve me and I understand. >> What is valued? What is emphasised? How do we know?

What is required for the future? >> What is valued? What is emphasised? How do we know?
