STATUS REPORT SWG SO by PLN HAPUA MEETING WORKING GROUP 2 – TRANSMISSION SUB WORKING GROUP– SYSTEM OPERATION 6th Oct 2010, Kuala Lumpur - Malaysia

Last Meeting Results (Bandung, March 2010) : 1.Approved action plan of the sub working group 2.Approved indicators for benchmarking system operation performance 3.Grid code and/or system overview presentation of some member countries: Brunei, Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Vietnam. Previous Meeting Results (Bogor, January 2009): 1.Adoption of Term of Reference of SWG – SO 2.Agreed Action Plan of the sub working group 3.General outline of Grid Code from Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand which were presented in the last meeting Highlight of Last SWG SO Meetings

Lao PDR agreed in principle to host the next Meeting of SWG SO on February 2011 (Malaysia as alternative host). Exact date and venue will be confirmed later upon approval by the management of EDL or TNB before the end of June The approved system operator performance indicator will be shared among members through Power System Operator Workshop (PSOW). Other topics to be presented in PSOW will be discussed in the mail list. Myanmar has been offered the opportunity to be the host of PSOW, but last PSOW has been carried out in Thailand on September Other Results of Last Bandung Meeting Next Meeting Venue
