DRUG CLASSIFICATION Methamphetamine is a central nervous system (CNS) stimulant with recognized medical value. Methamphetamine is produced illegally in many countries, including the United States. Methamphetamine is highly addictive and goes by the street names of ice, crystal, crystal meth, speed, crank, and glass.

VISUAL CHARACTERISTICS Methamphetamine is a white, odorless, bitter-tasting crystalline powder that easily dissolves in water or alcohol.
