ELPA – Restrictions on who takes it ODE requires that ELPA only be available to students for whom LEP is set to “Y” in the SSID collection. This includes students coded 4N in the LEP collection. This change will help ensure that only LEP students take ELPA. Please remember that students who have exited from English Language Development services in the prior year (i.e. those on monitoring status) should not take ELPA unless they re-enter through the districts’ placement process.
