Create Your Own Business Point Breakdown: Business Proposal – 100 pts Commercial – 100 pts Presentation – 75 pts Posterboard – 50 pts

Things to Consider before starting! Type of Business: Good or Service Sole Proprietorship (individually) or a Partnership Partners can only be up to 3 individuals

Business Proposal – 100pts Answer all questions fully and completely! Answers should be talked about and discussed with all group members. Business proposals are to discuss your business fully and in a manner in which to sell your idea in order to fund the business. Typed, 5-7 pages

Commercials – 100 pts Needs to involve everyone in group. Must have a music component. Must be at least 30 seconds and no longer than 3 minutes. Be creative and have fun! Can be done on computer, on camcorder or done in front of the class!

Poster board – 50 pts creative name, slogan, logo, examples of items being sold or services being provided, and (optional: a picture of a celebrity spokesperson to sponsor your product or service).

Presentation – 50 pts All members are required to present the business to their classmates. All members must take an active and equal role in presenting the material. You will be scored based on the creative and energetic style you decide to present with.
