Exploration Popcorn read Steps of Problem Solving

 Teacher will go through Minion video with students and have students identify problem solving steps used in the video.  Explanation

 Teacher places students in groups of three or four.  As a group, students will pick ONE problem collectively that they want to solve from the do- now list.  Using the Problem Solving Steps, students will “solve the issue” filling out the Problem Solving Handout. ◦ Use lap tops if available Elaboration

 Students will present their problem solving steps as a group. Each student in the group will present a different step to the problem. **If time allows have students present their problems.** Evaluation
