ADJECTIVES Adjectives in French function like adjectives in English. They are words that modify the nouns. They provide description of some sort. In French, the noun will usually follow the noun. It also must be masculine or feminine, like the noun. Example – the blond girl La fille blonde. The blond boy. Le garcon blond. Usually you add an –e to make adjective feminine
