 There are various health myths and many have become accepted as fact over the years  Why do these myths get started  Many could have started when a parent told a child something to get them to behave a certain way  Others may have started from the false assumption of a cause and effect relationship Various Myths

 The two websites we have as sources in the lesson list various myths they are:  Don’t cut off the bread crust it is full of vitamins  If you go out with wet hair, you’ll catch a cold  If you cross your eyes, they’ll stay that way  You should feed a cold and starve a fever  Gum stays in your stomach for 7 years  An apple a day keeps the doctor away  You lose 75% of your head through your head  Have someone startle you to get rid of hiccups What are some myths?
