SYNOPSIS Arabella’s has always had the desire to help someone in need, and its time for that to come back to bite her. How else could she end up walking back towards her house, the house she had spend days trying to bottle up the courage to leave, all to deliver a lousy suitcase for a girl she doesn’t ever remember meeting? As she begins her walk, stranger forces pull her away from home to the eerie Brinkley woods that lie nearby. Wandering aimlessly and slowly loosing her mind, Arabella must try to escape her demons; and the demons that are held within the suitcase.

FAQ’S What problems did you face in regards to filming? The main issue we faced was sound design. Without a designated person on sound difficulties arose about how to work equipment. How did you select the actress for your leading role? A process of elimination through acting students and non acting students who were available during filming dates. What changes were made during production? Location were changed multiply time due to permission. Also shots were changed from the shot list because of limited time to film. Who are your influences? ‘In fear’ directed by Jeremy Lovering & ‘Magic, Magic’ directed by Sebastian Silvas What do you think worked well in the film? The tone of the film was very well maintain and kept to the original horror genre we were aiming for. Also the cinematography and music worked well together. What do you think could have done with more work? If given more time we would have recorded higher quality of sound, added more detail to sound effects, costumes and make-up to appear more cinematic.

REVIEW BY HANNAH POON Arabella’s Suitcase was very well constructed and was very efficient. The film was very exciting and kept the audiences attention. The casting was very well picked and fitted in with the atmosphere of the film. It is evident that a lot of hard work has gone into the film. The cut and editing of the film was professionally done does not boldly stand out that it is done by amateurs. However, there were some circumstances where the sound was slightly quite and blurred. This could do with some tweaking. All in all a very good film! Year 1 English and Journalism Student Falmouth University

REVIEW BY CHARLOTTE WISE The concept of Arabella’s Suitcase is beautiful, the story is well written and aesthetically it looks just as eerie as it is. Although the filming shots could have been staged more carefully, the shakiness adds excellent effect to the theme of uncertainty in the film. Would love to see this film made into a feature, and I hope to see more work from this company in the future! Second Year English Language Student Aston University
