SUSTAINING SCHOOLWIDE PBIS HOW DOES IT ALL BEGIN?

SIMON ELEMENTARY – YEAR 1

SIMON ELEMENTARY – THEN…  High staff turnover in testing grades  Lack of interest in new initiatives  Academic and behavior concerns  Costly PBIS systems too difficult to maintain and monitor  Inconsistent data tracking

SIMON ELEMENTARY – In Progress  Evaluate data for academics and behavior  Establish a PBIS team from various disciplines  Establish and evaluate systems of support for staff and students (RTI)  Establish and adhere to scheduled meeting dates  Integration of services to meet the needs of all students  Key positions included in budget to establish culture and climate  SST process fully implemented as a resource for teachers (Tier 2)
