Pt. 2 The Godhead Acts 17:29 “Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.” Godhood  How many are there in the Godhead?  What does the Bible teach?  Is the word “trinity” found in the Bible?  Is the Godhead really triplets?  Is there one God or three?

Acts 17:29 “Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.” Rom. 1:20 “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse.” Col. 2:9 “For in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.”

Matt.28:19 “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:” I Cor. 12:3 (ESV) “Therefore I want you to understand that no one speaking in the Spirit of God ever says “Jesus is accursed!” and no one can say “Jesus is Lord” except in the Holy Spirit.” II Cor. 13:14 “The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Old Testament Deut. 6:4 “hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord:” Isa. 44:6b “...I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.” Ex. 20:3-4 “Thou shalt have no other gods before me. 4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:”

Word Trinity Means three-fold Three fold manifestation of God. Triune God Baptism of Christ - Matt. 3:13-18 God the Father speaks from Heaven Jesus the Son is being baptized Spirit descends in the form of a dove Great Commission - Matt. 28:19 Father, Son and the Holy Spirit

The Father is not God as such, for God is Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The Son is not God as such, for God is Father, Son and Holy spirit. The Holy Spirit is not God as such, for God is Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The three are equal. There is one God and he is the one and only God (undivided and indivisible). God is not three and one, but three in one.
