An LMS can be used in varying degrees: – As a supplement to a face-to-face learning environment – As a means of communication between student and teacher (no face-to-face) – As an assessment/learning/evaluating tool (no teacher required)

How does an LMS work: Odds are that you already use an LMS… Many Universities use them as administrative tools. An LMS that delivers learning content will: Pre-assess the user (sometimes) Guide the student through a learning task Evaluate and report
