Status Report # 4 LCDE Noe Flores, Marcos Lujan, Andrew Patton, Mark Steele September 17, 2012 The goal of our project is rectify problems with an existing LCD screen including but not limited to physical damage.

Overall Need: Improve current LCD Design  Excessive failure/breakage rate  Look at current design and research alternatives.  Research parts needed  Enter design phase  Implement and test design  Redesign (if needed) and Finalize

Recent Tasks completed:  Met with engineers at KCI  Obtained materials needed to test durability of existing screens.  Completed and updated Project Schedule

Ongoing/Pending tasks  Began construction of Website  Weekly meetings with engineers at KCI  Isolating issues with screen damage  Testing possible design alterations
