COMPUTER WORKSTATIONS  The personal space around each computer  NO food or drink allowed in this area!  Clean up your workstation daily

COMPUTER USAGE  ONLY for Commercial Art assignments  Special permission may be given if asked for in advance

PASSWORDS  Definition: A string of characters that a user must enter to gain access to a resource that is protected  Do not set up any passwords of your own on the Commercial Art computers  Your login password is your Student ID#

PRINTING  You must ask permission before printing!  ONLY print Commercial Art work that you are asked to print  Be SURE you are ready to print – CONSERVE!  All other printing must be pre-approved and is subject to a fee (10¢ for B&W, 50¢ for color)

LOGGING OFF / SHUTTING DOWN  Log out of your account, THEN shut down  At the end of every class

PROBLEMS with: COMPUTERS, SOFTWARE, ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS  Visually check yourself FIRST – Are all cords plugged in to the wall? Plugged into the computer?  If not, please let Ms. Messer know  DO NOT attempt to repair or trouble shoot software or hardware  DO NOT change any electrical connections on any piece of equipment without permission
