You and Your Parents Relationships with parents may change frequently and feel like a roller coaster.

Increase Your Understanding What was your parents lives like? Learn the reasons behind their beliefs and action. If you don’t share your thoughts and feelings with them they can’t understand you.

Show Respect Disrespect results in anger and hurt feelings. Be aware of what your body language and tone of voice are saying. How can you change your actions to show more respect.

Act Responsibly Responsible teens get more privileges. Be honest, admit mistakes. Complete chores at home without reminders all the time. Let parents know if you are going to be late. Do your best in school Watch out for younger siblings

You and Your Siblings Sharing interest can help you get along. Being close in age does not mean you will get along. Older siblings may over protect younger siblings. Sibling Rivalry is common. Competition for love and attention from parents.
