Jesus Cleanses a Leper

 The Faith of the Leper

 Mark 1:40 – “If You are willing, You can make me clean.”  Hebrews 11:6 – “without faith it is impossible to please Him”  Ephesians 1:19-21 – “exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe”  Ephesians 2:1-5 – “and you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins”

 Example of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed- Nego  Daniel 3:14-18 – “our God, whom we serve is able to deliver us”  Example of Joshua and Caleb  Numbers 13:32-14:10 – “the Lord is with us. Do not fear them”

 The Faith of the Leper  “I am Willing”

 The Faith of the Leper  “I am Willing”  Ignoring Instructions

 Mark 1: “see that you say nothing to anyone… However, he went out and began to proclaim it freely”  Mark 1:35-39 – “that I may preach there also, because for this purpose I have come forth”

 God word is Powerful  Hebrews 4:12 – “the word of God is living and powerful”  Romans 1:16 – “it is the power of God to salvation”  II Timothy 3:16-17 – “All scripture is given by inspiration of God”

 We must not ignore God’s Word  Matthew 7:24-27 – “everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man”  Psalms 119:105 – “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path”

 We learn of the Great faith of the leper.  We learn that not only is God able, but God is willing.  We learn of the importance of following God’s instruction.  God is willing and has extended an invitation (Revelation 22:17).  Are you willing to come?

 Hear the Word of God (Romans 10:17)  Believe in Jesus (Hebrews 11:6)  Repent of Sins (Acts 17:30)  Confess faith in Christ (Matthew 10:32)  Be Baptized in Water (Mark 16:15-16)  Grow and Be Faithful (Revelations 2:10)  If err, repent and pray to God (I John 1:9)
