Marine Biome Research By Laiken Mckay

Marine Geography & Climate Location: The Pacific, Atlantic, Indian, Arctic, and Southern. Description: Very Salty, The largest of all ecosystem Climate: Varies Temperature Range : Freezing at the pole and Warmer near the Equator

Marine Biodiversity Plants -Algae -Seaweed -Kelp -Mashes -Grasses Animal Species -Fish -Worms -Clams -Crabs -Shore birds -Coral -Fungi -Whales -Plankton -Invertebrates There are 15 different species that I identified in this biome.

Marine Adaptations Needed for Survival Plants: Plants give off oxygen and that helps the algae survive. Animals: Coral reefs like shallow warmer waters. Cold blooded animals live in warmer water more towards the shore. Cold blooded animals live in cooler w

Marine Interactions of Biotic and Abiotic Biotic: The plants give off oxygen which is needed for animals to survive in an ecosystem.

What is Biodiversity? Biodiversity is the different species of flora and fauna living together in a community within a ecosystem. Most people classify biodiversity into different species types.

How does biodiversity contribute to the sustainability of an ecosystem? Use the handout given in class to answer the above question Type your answer here
