Mercury BY CHARLIE PROBERT

Facts Mercury is the smallest planet in the solar system. At night time Mercury can get as hot as 290 degrees and in the day time Mercury can get up to 800 degrees. Mercury is 58 million km away from the sun. One day on mercury is 59 earth days but one year in Mercury is only 88 earth days. Mercury is a rocky planet just like the moon. Mercury is just bigger then the moon.

Facts Mercury has no moons. Only two spacecraft have visited Mercury. The first one was in 1974 and the second one flew past Mercury three times before going to land on Mercury in If you where standing on the surface of Mercury the sun would appear 3 times bigger then what we see it. If you weigh 32 kg on earth if you went to Mercury you would only weigh 16 kg

Why I think this information is important and why I chose this presentation format When scientist are looking for another planet they will know not to live on Mercury because it is to close to the sun and it gets very hot on Mercury I chose this presentation format because it is a good way to show your facts and you know where everything is.
