Enabling Grids for E-sciencE INFSO-RI To change: View -> Header and Footer 13 ICI-Bucharest (Romanian partner) National Institute for Research & Development in Informatics (ICI), Bucharest is a leading unit in Romanian IT Research and Development. –Six Academy awards were granted to the ICI people for their results. –In 1999, ICI was ranked first among R & D Romanian organizations, in the EC survey. –Currently the institute is subordinated to the Ministry for Communication and Information Technology. ICI is the coordinator of RoGrid (Romanian NGI); other members are UPB, UB, NIPNE, INCAS, ICN, SILVECO Major dissemination event: March 2006, National RoGrid conference.
