Getting Involved For this Community and Service I have chosen which is Candy Gram I actually had three jobs. My first job was to sell ticket coupons to customers for the Candy Gram they were sending or receiving. My second job was to actually select the Candy and Wrap them in a professional way that’s suitable for sale. Last but not least my final job was to send the actual Candy Gram to the customers or the receivers. That was almost all what I have done for this Community and Service.

My Community As you know our Community and Service project was to serve the School, actually serve the school and give the profits to charity. The students were very eager and excited about this particular project that we are running since it includes Candy and also sending them to friends. The students got us a lot of profit for the less fortunate and also made our project a lot successful. They liked to spend a lot of money on less fortunate and also in the same time buy some Candy. Describing them in one word would be “enthusiastic”.

Our Service Towards the Community This service best-fitted our school because this school is fortunate and wealthy and many students like to make charity actions. In this Project were joined two amazing subjects which are Charity giving and Sending Candy. Basically our project is to raise money to give to charity but we added the Candy selling part to encourage students to action in it and in the same time raise money for charity.

Our Plan Our Plan was to sell the ticket coupons, make the Candy Gram and deliver it in the End. Our plan was fantastic. We had one week to sell all the tickets that we could sell, after that buy all the Candy we need in the weekend, Wrap all the Candy’s in two after School sessions one hour long each and Lastly deliver all the Candy in an hour and a half last day before the Winter Holiday. Of course I had a little bit of job from everything and all of us doing the same we finished the job perfectly.

Planning Reflection I can honestly say that the project wasn’t fair because some of us done more work than others and we have covered their jobs. Our planning wasn’t goob because we didn’t have a lot of time working and we were under a lot of pressure and we had a bit of delays from everything. As I have said some people weren't working and others were just sitting around doing nothing eating the projects Candy. All I can ask for Is more community and service points because I was working more than any other person.

Narrating Although the project was a success and we got a lot of profit for the charity we had a lot of problems from every direction. First of all We didn’t have enough time working for the project because we were on short time to the due dates, secondly some people didn’t attend all the session and left all the work for us to do. Lastly the workers were careless in their wrapping and their movement of Candy, and some were just doing nothing and eating the projects Candy that was supposed to be delivered.

MYP Learner Profile The MYP learner profile I have chosen for this particular project is knowledgeable because we used a lot of our knowledge that we have seized in the past to make a successful business. We had to think of ways to persuade the students to buy from us in the same way we had to encourage them to give money to charity. Then we also made our decisions to make the rest of the project successful and in hand.

Conclusion This project is very successful although we had our problems with out a doubt. I hope in continues each year with new ideas and achievements. Our goal in this project is to raise money for charity in a new fun and fresh idea that would make the both sides happy since were giving them Candy and them giving us the C&S points we need. The only challenge we faced was to finish the project on time and with a lot of work and thankfully we overcame that.
