Common Software Mathematics Education Common Software for Mathematics Education Vladimir Nodelman Holon Institute of Technology, Israel

Desirable - Existent educational advantages of the mathematics internal integrity are well known. software used in mathematics teaching is explicitly separated by application area. An excerpt from the Topics of Interests of our conference: Geometry using Dynamic Geometry, Algebra using CAS

Unification supposes linkage accentuation not only in the contents of the studied material, but also in teaching methods, aids(common software) and forms. Common software allows to: define objects in a unified syntax expression style, operate with them in a similar way, interact with them by means of unified GUI, visualize them in a shared graphical manner.

Good News The conference program gives an obvious prove that: Educators are looking for possibilities to use the existing software in different, not “natural” areas or “in betweens” of mathematics. Software developers  provide additions and enhancements of their program in order to extend its potential,  create new software intended to bring closer the desirable integration.
