Peter O’Toole as T.E Lawrence.

Lawrence of Arabia is the 1962 movie following the life of T.E Lawrence after WWI. The movie starts out with Lawrence’s death cause by a motorcycle accident, and proceeds to flashbacks of his experience in the war. The flashbacks bring him back to when he was a young intelligence officer in Cairo, where he led the Arabs into harassing the Turks and arranged a guerilla attack. He leads his army north and joins with a British officer to gain the power of the Ottoman Empire.

The integration at Ole Miss is an event that changed the life of a fifteen year old boy. After submitting an application to The University of Mississippi, that application was neither denied, nor accepted, but ignored because of his race. "until I was fifteen I did not know that my group was supposed to be the inferior one. Since then I have felt a personal responsibility to change the status of my group“ -James Meredith On September 25, 1962, Meredith attempted to enter Ole Miss to only be blocked by Barnett, Mississippi’s governor.
