Safeguarding at Harlow College Harlow College has a Student Safeguarding Manager who is supported by a Safeguarding team The college supports ALL learners whether they are full or part time with issues that make them feel unsafe so that it affects their progress on their college course These issues could be due to problems either in or out of college

Main issues which affected learners last year where bullying, homelessness or having concerns which require some form of counselling. Bullying will not be tolerated and can involve physical or verbal abuse as well as sending threatening or insulting comments by text, or social networks like facebook.

Contacting the Safeguarding Team You may be given a safeguarding card by your tutor or they are available at reception. Safeguarding posters around the college with contact details Contact the team via the student zone on the Qube ( the college intranet VLE) Ask any of your tutors for our contact details Ask at reception to contact us
