Coalitions When people come together to be allies The group can help accomplish goals although this group may be temporary
Collaborate To agree or help on another Self willed and is a temporary alliance
Initiative To take action on something I.E. To propose an amendment to the Constitution
Lawsuit A court case involving a complaint made against a person
Mediation When a third party is brought in to find a solution (NO LEGAL CONTRACT)
Mock Elections Trials or cases that are recreated to gain new or improved evidence
Negotiation Making a deal with another party in a mutual way
Penal Code Laws that have the crime and punishment listed
Petition A document asking something from someone of importance. In Law: to gain a court order.
Plank A principle or base that a platform starts out as. One of the many items a party is for

Precinct A limited area usually has one polling area in it to vote.

Recall To vote upon removing a candidate they think is not suitable for them
Subpoena A document that summons a requested item or person to court
Verdict A final sentencing of a trial or case Usually made by a jury
