Graziella Demarey, ALME – 21/04/09, Brussels  Team: 7 employees  Territory: 27 municipalities ( inhabitants) = 16 towns of CAMSA + 11 towns of SIVOM  Target public: communities, enterprises, citizens and children  Missions: - carry out technical and financial studies, - give advices, - teach and educate target public Presentation of ALME (Mulhouse Local Energy Agency) ALME and CYBER Display: context National context: application of the EPBD thanks to: - realization of DPE (Energy Efficiency Diagnostic) for sale / location of housings, for concerned buildings (SHON > 1000 m 2, …). ALME is able to realize DPE for householders and for municipalities too - anticipation of DPE with Display Campaign in municipal buildings. CAMSA and SIVOM have confided to ALME the responsability of Display Campaign for its territory Local context: Territorial Climate Plan (TCP), engaged by CAMSA since 2006

Graziella Demarey, ALME – 21/04/09, Brussels ALME’s realisations Since 2000, ALME has carried out some « COE » (= financial and environmental audits of the energy consumption) for municipalities of 26 towns (near inhabitants). It represents: bulidings ( m 2 SHON), - final energy comsumption: > 172 GWh - saving potential: 10.7% for energy comsumption, 20.3% for energy budget… Since 2006, ALME has been a participant of the Municipal Buildings Climate Campaign Display in Europe So, in Display data base: - 11 towns concerned, buildings, annual Display posters and 438 annual DPE posters, tri-annual DPE/Display posters and integration of annual Display posters in « COE » reports Since 2006, ALME has carried out some diagnostics post « COE » (= evaluation and feedbacks on the different realized actions): - 3 towns finished, - 4 towns on going, - other towns to determine

Graziella Demarey, ALME – 21/04/09, Brussels Display campaign: 2 shinning examples Town of Kingersheim: 1.« COE » + diagnostics post « COE » integrating Display posters (16 buildings) 2.Display campaign: 2 posters displayed in 2 buildings Town of Illzach: 1.« COE » + diagnostics post « COE » integrating Display posters (27 buildings) 2.IR Thermography of the town + ALME assistance to explain the results to the citizens 3.Display campaign and DPE realization - 27 Display posters displayed in buildings - 1 conference about this first display of the poster realised in town hall with key personnel, mayor… - 1information conference with assistants and teachers of the 8 nursery schools - 1 information conference about Display campaign realised in schools with directors and teachers of 3 schools among the 8 elementary schools (3 interventions of raising awareness to the control of the energy are going to be given in 3 classes of one elementary school) - The DPE realization for the 11 concerned buildings among the 27 buildings of Illzach is finished and the display is on going - Publication of an article about Illzach’s Display campaign in the newsletter n°17 of Energie- Cités
