Animal Welfare Why is it important? Humans regularly undertake medical experiments on animals in the name of science. Climate change and human action is destroying the natural environment of many animals. Some pets or farm animals are mistreated or abandoned by their owners. Why campaign? Better funding for supporting animals and greater awareness of the problems animals face.
